The Bertha Scott and Garland Herndon Educational Foundation mission is to assist individuals from under-represented populations in their efforts to pursue careers in education, arts and vocation.

The foundation is a 501 3(c) private foundation based in Cary, North Carolina. Supporting efforts to educate the under privileged communities in areas of health and wellness, financial literacy, and judicial/governmental service.

Since 2020, The Scott-Herndon Foundation is a private foundation based in Cary, NC. It is our mission to advance, the under privileged through education, training, mentoring and combating homelessness.

The Scott-Herndon legacy of Leadership and Ingenuity is created to inspire children to complete higher learning educational opportunities. Our mission is to help under served communities by combating homelessness and increasing a life of better living.

We are committed to all levels of education which included elementary, middle, high school and higher learning.
